The Ruddy Kitchen
In 2002 the Ruddy Potato opened a commercial kitchen in a tiny space underneath the Retail store in Snug Cove. The idea was to use some of the beautiful local and organic produce and groceries in the store to make delicious and healthy food.

Now in its own space at 511 Sunset Road, the Ruddy Kitchen whips up delicious healthy, local and organic dishes for delivery to the store in the cove three times a day. The first run arrives just before store opening at 9 am: fresh muffins, scones, cinnamon buns, breakfast pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches and the morning bread make their appearance. Grab an organic coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the store, and there's breakfast!

Later in the day the entrees start to arrive. The entrees are great by themselves, or as a base for a more elaborate meal you might like to create. At my house we often take the Ruddy Chili and Cheese and wrap it up in a tortilla with avocado, tomato, plain yogurt and shredded lettuce for a yummy dinner wrap. You might pair the thai chicken curry with an organic green salad, or the homey mac and cheese with a plate of fresh organic crudites and dip. The menu changes daily: dinner is easy!

If you need an extra something to finish off your dinner The Ruddy Kitchen makes delicious homemade bakery treats like cookies, loaves, cakes, cheesecakes and fruit pies that will serve as a spectacular end to any meal.
